St Helena Hospice Donation

We want to thank everyone who donated to our Christmas lights display, helping us raise £150.00 for St Helena Hospice. A special thank you to Udaatta for joining us and sharing insights into their upcoming fundraising initiatives for next year. We look forward to more trips out to the BBB shop this year. Many thanks again to everyone!

Bird Feeders

We enjoyed a hands-on and rewarding activity making homemade fat balls for the wildlife area. Lard was carefully melted a variety of seeds were mixed in, including sunflower seeds, mealworms, and peanuts. The mixture was then spooned into plastic cups with strings attached, ready for hanging. Once cooled and set, the fat balls were placed outside, where they will help support local birds and wildlife.

Coco

We want to take a moment to express our thanks to our lovely pet therapy dog, Coco, and her equally wonderful owner, Andrew, from Esssex Therapy Dogs, who have been visiting us for over two years now. Coco is an incredibly affectionate dog who brings joy to everyone she visits. Everyone, including the staff, gets so excited when she visits. Dog lovers know just how much joy these furry companions bring into our lives. Their presence has a unique way of easing our stress and putting a massive smile on our faces that stretches from ear to ear.  She has a knack for knowing exactly who will offer her the tastiest treats, and we all love spoiling her. Thank you, Andrew, for all the effort you’ve put into bringing Coco to us over the years and for brightening our days. It means a lot to us.
We look forward to many more visits from both of you in the years to come.
