When it is time for a loved one to move into a care home, many people naturally search for a place that looks like a home, imitating the cosy environment where they used to live. Here at Stanway Green Lodge, we aim to provide exactly this type of atmosphere. It is like moving from home to home but with a team of dedicated staff to look after your loved one.

Stanway Green Lodge can offer residents, short stay respite care and welcome those who would benefit from a break from their usual routine.

This may also be for a period of support or rehabilitation after a stay in hospital and is for a minimum period of four weeks. This also allows the resident and their family the opportunity to familiarise themselves with Stanway Green Lodge and what we can offer, in readiness for when more intensive support may be needed.

As we value the input and feedback of residents and relatives we ask that annually they complete questionnaires regarding the care given by us. This is very important to us as it helps us with our quality assurance, allows us to monitor our standards and enables us to continue to make improvements in the care we offer.

Stanway Green Lodge provides 24 hour care and assistance with all bedrooms and communal areas fitted with a Nurse Call alarm system should any resident require assistance at the touch of a button.

The home is comprehensively equipped with all that is needed to promote a first class quality of life including passenger lift, hoists and specialist baths. The in-house laundry provides a prompt, personal service for our residents.

Visiting hairdressers, chiropodists, district nurses and the local Doctors are in regular attendance and assistance is also given with individual religious requirements.
