Many thanks to St Helena Hospice for switching on our Christmas Lights this year. Before the switch-on, they gave us a lovely talk about the fantastic work that they do. They then spent time meeting and chatting to everyone whilst enjoying some delicious mince pies. When it got darker, we all went out and began the countdown. What a wonderful afternoon we had at our Christmas Party, made even more memorable by the visit from St Helena Hospice, who brought gifts generously bought by the local community through the BBB shop. Thank you to Kirsty, Wendy, Serena, Tina, and Daniela for their efforts and kindness. They bravely joined in on the festivities, making the afternoon special for us. In addition to passing the parcel (with forfeits), we sang, danced, and took part in an interactive Christmas quiz. There were some great prizes to be won in the raffle. We ended the afternoon with a delicious, festive tea. A big thank you to Chris and Sue for organising and hosting the party, which truly helped everyone get into the festive spirit.
